We’d be remiss not to point you in the direction of our Awards section at this point, since we’re annually in contention for silverware thanks to our natty recruitment campaigns, taking on the likes of Tesco and - dare we say it - even beating out MSN, the Metropolitan Police and MI5 in years past.
The point is you can’t make a good omelette with bad eggs, as Grandma Gift used to say, so we handpick our fledgling fundraisers and train them very thoroughly - not just to begin with, but throughout their time with us.
We search high and low for the brightest, smartest and perkiest candidates out there, running our dedicated recruitment site www.giftjobs.com and recently launching our Graduate Recruitment Scheme, targeting final year and graduate students at universities and colleges across the country.
We also do our bit to help young people interested in the charity sector get started, working with Careers TV to record a spot of careers advice, podcast-style.
